n the pasture, a rooster will announce the beginning of a new day while our donkeys, Annie, Debbie and Mr. Tews, and geese await their breakfast. Later, an assortment of chickens will wander the grounds.

Tash, a small but indomitable Corgi, and Harry, a Standard Poodle mix, are the friendly greeters.

“Once again, a wonderful stay at the Stone House! It is always such a refreshing change of pace here among you’ns and the animals! Harry is bigger, but no less feisty; Tash is ever vigilant; Mr. Tews still bears his cross; and the roosters gently remind us of morning. All year long (especially in the cold winter) thoughts of the Stone House warm and comfort us.”
